For those in East Texas that will remember her, Dana Kaye lost a battle with brain cancer today. She was 50.

She was on KLTV-TV at the anchor's desk during the 80s and into the 90s before moving to Tennessee.

Sympathies and condolences to the family.
 
Remember her well. A most capable journalist. Such a sad loss. Points up the fragile existence each of us enjoys in which every day is a gift.
