R.I.P. Dana Key

I haven't been able to find out any details on the web, but Dana Key of DeGarmo and Key, probably the best known band in Christian rock from Memphis, passed away last night. There were mentions of it on K-LOVE and WCRV, the local Christian talk station, this morning, but no details yet.

It appears Dana died from a blood clot. He did a reunion concert with Eddie DeGarmo at Dana's TLC Church a couple of years back. I wanted to go but wasn't able to. They also did a reunion concert last week in Asheville, NC. It's ironic that for years D&K were better known outside of Memphis than in Memphis.
