Just hear KOOL 101 in Connecticut report by way of CNN that the "Soul Train" icon is dead after a gunshot wound to the head.
 
Now I'm hearing he shot himself. So sad to hear this. I'd assume BET's Centric network will do some type of marathon or tribute.
 
He claims he had a illness but never went public with it. I also think in later years Don had some type of depression which would explain his divorce. Still a sad day in music today. Alot of artist owe Don for making them shine over the years even the hip hop artist he will be missed. I assume Bounce will do a marathon soon too bad it's not on here in Los Angeles yet but it's on the way to KCOP sub 2. Centric only airs Soul Train once a month it would be nice to see them air it regular how many episodes of the same sitcoms we have to watch over and over TV One has that covered
 
Does anyone Know What TV Stations in the 1st 7 Cities Outside of Chicago Aired Soul train in 1971? I Heard WBBM Chicago, WUAB Cleveland.
