R.I.P. FSNY

FSN NY

Someone needs to inform the writer of the article it's FSN NY, not FSNY.

With that said...

I agree with some things stated in the article, like more local programming. FSN NY is one of several RSNs I don't watch simply because of its programming choices. There is another which is much worse but I won't bring it up here.

Room for improvement...I hope it goes well for MSG, Inc.
 
"Several years" as SportsChannel? Had to be almost 20, right?

I think this move makes sense. It eliminates some of the confusion of trying to figure where something will be airing. Right now it seems like a mishmash where you're never sure one day to the next which of the sports nets will show something. Maybe there's a system I haven't picked up on though.
 
I find it interesting that Cablevision doesn't just fold one of the networks outright. After both of them lost rights to both local baseball teams, they are the least desirable RSN's in the summertime.

In a perfect world, they would shut down FSN NY, and move SNY to its position - and in SNY's spot, add the NFL Network. ;D
