R.I.P. Hamilton's 94.7 The Wave

Looks like WLOQ will not be the only heritage Smooth Jazz/Smooth AC outlet going bye-bye on August 1st. Durham Radio just announced that they will be changing CIWV "94-7 The Wave" to Country as "KX94.7," thus becoming Hamilton's first FM country outlet since 95.3 became "Vinyl" and putting the station in competition with 820 CHAM.
