R.I.P Jon "Rock n Roll" Anthony

Saw this on the KX-104 Facebook page...

Another member of the KX 104 Krew is gone.

Jon "Rock n Roll" Anthony was a radio legend, a mentor and very close friend of mine...a brother. We go back to just before my radio career started. Forty years is a long time but somehow is still not long enough when you have to say goodbye. We worked together and/or against each other in 4 cities. We roomed together in one of them and were next door neighbors in another one. We had more laughs together than I can begin to even tell you about. We stayed in touch with each other a lot through all these years. For quite a while he's been fighting Multiple Myeloma very bravely...last night the fight ended. Fortunately, I was able to talk to him last week and we were able to find some laughs even through our tears...He loved his wife, his son and the Lord even more than he loved Bama football!...And if you knew him, you know, that's a lot of love! Until we meet in that great control room in the sky, Jon, I will miss you dearly.

Your Brother,
Lee Masters

We've lost another legend. I hadn't heard of this anywhere but on this board tonight. I listened to John many, many hours. R.I.P. John.
