R.I.P. KTSO / KMYZ engineer Brad Davis

I know almost nothing about this yet, except that we lost a great engineer and an extraordinary man yesterday: Brad A. Davis, engineer for 94.1 / The Sound & Z104.5 / The Edge.

I was lucky enough to work with him for a brief period of time; his sense of humor & his genuine interest in each person he came in contact with were both exceptional. I was able to see him with his daughter at her wedding... his smile beamed across the reception hall like a lighthouse torch.

I don't know yet what may have killed him, nor any details about any possible public visitation or public memorial service; if I find out more I'll pass it along.

Gone too soon: 01/27/1952 - 01/02/2011

:'(

Services for Brad will be on Friday (1/7) at 10 AM. The location is the First Baptist Church, 1301 West Main St., Collinsville. Visitation is today (Thursday) until 8 PM at the Dolton Funeral Home, 1302 West Main St., Collinsville. 371-2516.
