Any gulf coast stations doing tributes. Right now I'm listening to blx. Nick at night is doing a Master mix with Micheal Jackson songs. It sounds great. I heard q100 playing some and my 107.3. Any body else? Man I can't believe he's gone. :'(
 
Last night when I got in the car after dinner I heard two MJ songs in a row on Q105 and I thought, well another automation screw up. Then a third, and I said to my wife, I think MJ is dead. After 3 songs or so he took a phoner with the caller saying how sad she was, ect then back into a few more MJ songs with more phoners. In the half hour I listened TK never really said "Michael Jackon is Dead" or gave any details. very strange.

Button pushing over to WJQB Scott Shannon was talking about it every couple of songs. The Point was still boogying away with no MJ songs or comment. By then I was home and flipped on CNN to get the full story.
 
In PC I heard The Beat playing MJ songs, not sure if they flipped all the way. Sunny 98 actually played MJ songs right before they went to Delilah. I don't think she played ANY MJ songs last night. Maybe tonight? I heard Island was playing tons of MJ stuff yesterday. I thought they were voice tracked most of the day outside of mornings.

Island had one of their morning jocks come in and do a few hour special. It was a nice live and local tribute. TK on Beach 95.1 also had MANY MJ hits on there - from when he was very young until he was at his peak. He did a good job.
