R.I.P. Norman Corwin at 101

Thank you for posting this. Only learned of Norman Corwin passing away on a radio show yesterday. He was a genius and deserves continued honors for his work.

I had not even heard of Norman Corwin until about 2 years ago. (I doubt that most people born in the early 1950's aren't familiar with him either).......... nonetheless; Greg Bell on Sirius XM has talked about him a lot these last few years and interviewed him last year just before his 100th birthday.

Norman was a giant among men and a great patriot.

for those with Sirius/XM there will be some on the air tributes to Norman Corwin this week:
--------------------
Oct 23rd to Oct 29th Radio Classics (channel 82)

We lead off the week with a special tribute for Norman Corwin, who passed away on Tuesday October 18th at age 101. I will play his May 16th, 1944 Columbia Presents Corwin production; “New York: A Tapestry For Radio” followed by two from The Columbia Workshop; “Untitled” from May 30th, 1944 and “Cromer” from December 1st, 1942. The two-hour tribute also includes portions of my visit with him conducted in his Hollywood area home prior to his Centennial birthday. Debuts on Sunday (10/23) at 6pm ET with encores on Wednesday at 8am ET and again at 10pm ET Wednesday night.
