R.I.P. Pastor Lane Bridges

Who cares?

My deepest condolences to Mr, Bridges' family and friends, but WXCT is DONE. Give it up Marc- it's OVER... that is unless you like overmodulated CB quality audio on a 2500-watt signal with people screaming at the top of their lungs in Spanish.

Pastor Lane Bridges was a Connecticut Broadcaster. He had a weekly show on a local radio station. I hope the Connecticut Broadcaster's will acknowledge him. My sympathies to his family, friends and the congregation.

The Immanuel Lutheran Church has been one of the consistancies of WXCT/WNTY. You could rely on them to be there. They remained on the station to reach out to shut-ins, people who may have missed a service and to people scanning the dial. I am curious if they will continue with thier broadcasts.
