Robert M. Miller, who owned WDBN, an FM radio station in Medina, and became a Medina County community activist, died of complications from lung disease Wednesday at Hospice at The Inn at Medina.
The 71-year-old Medina man directed promotions and programs for WERE, a Cleveland AM radio station, in the 1960s before buying WDBN in 1968. At one time, WDBN was one of the most popular and most powerful FM stations in Northeast Ohio.
Miller was past chairman and president of United States Broadcasting Corp.
