R.I.P. Stan Chambers

Stan Chambers filed approximately 22,000 news stories in a 63-year career. Wow! Wearing ice skates, he hosted Frosty Frolics, a 1950-52 variety series broadcast live from the Polar Palace skating rink in Hollywood. In every episode he would fake a pratfall. The Archive of American Television has a six-minute clip of Chambers talking about the show:
