It was terrible to learn of his passing. Talk about a mainstay at a station. I've been in Pittsburgh for about 15 years and listen to kqv daily...and sadly, will never get to hear that distinguished, huge delivery again...course when he cracked up on the air every now and then, again, truly great...and a great loss.

I agree, Boss. An understatement to say the least. He and Bill Steinbach were both in that same class...that very delivery that sounded made for radio news. When either of those men spoke, you immediately paid attention.
