R.I.P. Tawn Mastrey and Gary Franklin

It really was a sad day today.

Tawn Mastrey of the original KNAC-FM and then Pirate Radio; Gary Franklin of KWFB-AM and then KNXT-TV 2 (now KCBS) both passed away late Tuesday night. Both made an incredible impact on L.A. Radio and the entertainment indrustry itself. Both left us far too soon.

Especially Tawn :'(

Tawn also was a dj on Hair Nation/Sirius Radio. She had a great voice. Gone too soon. I hope she is hanging out with the legends in Rock & Roll Heaven.
 
I remember Gary Franklin's car98 reports for KFWB years ago, & along with his "Franklin Scale", made for entertain radio. He will be missed.
