R&M BACK ON IN SEATTLE?

Sad day for R&M fans. Thanks to Entercom they went out without that last goodbye and sign off.

I have not listened to an Entercom station since the flip and I will never will again.

But on the other paw, Robin & Maynard....on KPLU?

Where's my checkbook.....

Sure!..

...after their website's 'podcrap' disaster LAST holiday season?..
...displaying a drawing of Roy Otis taking a leak in the snow - online until April 07??

Again: YOU make the call...

Okay, I'll make the call: bring 'em back tomorrow!

If you've looked at the websites for radio shows currently running in Seattle and haven't found anything in worse taste than Roy's taking a leak in the snow, you haven't been looking very hard.

Robin & Maynard, though not reaching JP Patches proportions, is STILL a popular show in the Northwest and in spite of the Entercom mess, the radio really sucks without them. I think it was much overdo in a format that wasn't exactly best suited to them (Guy Talk didn't last for long, did it?) They're best suited to classic rock/Active Rock AOR (though I'm not sure how they'd work around Chevelle or Slipknot tunes. Just try 'em and see.) They have a ready-made audience who will folllow them ANYWHERE-even on AM if it has to come to THAT (KRKO? 50,000 watts? Hear me?....)

I STILL think KISM could use them. It has a big enough signal to reach into Seattle and most of the Vancouver area, that's TWO major markets with ONE signal. And KISM/Saga has several female employees so any derogatory signs some unfortunate guys even THINK of putting up against women there are going to be met with a CRIPPLING blow. Bellingham women are hip. They will kick your ass so hard, you'll taste her shoe if you DARE cross them...)

Beats Delilah IMHO anyway......

CHEERS!
