So who takes over? The Mountain's been her baby for 15 years now.

Or will Entercom spin the ol' format wheel? I hear Classic Country is an available format since it's now only on HD...

Why would Entercom flip something that's been working for years to something that has a niche appeal in Seattle? It would be insanity to flip KMTT.

I'd be shocked if they changed format...media buyers love that station and their in-demo ratings have been pretty strong lately. The writing was on the wall when Melissa Forest was named VP/GM of KMTT as well as KISW and KQBZ, a title Chris had previously held for KMTT. I am surprised that she's going to a Hot AC station, but prior to KMTT she was the PD of KLSY in the '80s...or maybe they'll be blowing up that format and going AAA.

because they're idiots? nothing would surprise me.

Good luck to Chris... she's a survivor and they are few places better to be than the city by the bay!

Bring back KZAM!

Isn't a tribute station to KZAM streaming somewhere?

What's IKnowitall's prediction as to what's going to happen to 103.7?

Kinda smelled that one coming from 60 miles away.

There may be some format tweaks (every new PD leaves his/her mark somewhere.), but nothing too radical.

But if you're in the mood for a sleighing song tonight, Christmas music is popping up all over the NW radio dial again...

But I'm sure once the labor dispute between Sandusky and the Local Elves Union (who are demanding shorter hours, more cookies and less Celine Dion) is settled, you will hear Christmas music exclusively on 106.9 FM again. Looks promising on everything but the Celine Dion...
