radio 102-9?

CC fliiped WVMX "Mix 94.1" in Cincinnati at noon to "radio 94-1". A sample of the songs seems to skew a little more modern AC than a Mix station:

Sarah MacLachlan - Possession
Plain White T’s - Hey There Delilah
Cracker - Low
Train - Calling All Angels
The Fray - Over My Head
Cars - Let’s Go
Incubus - Drive
Santana w/ Alex Band - Why Don’t You And I
Edie Brickell & New Bohemians - What I Am
Dave Matthews Band - Eh Hee
Natalie Merchant - Carnival
Goo Goo Dolls - Stay With You
Franz Ferdinand - Take Me Out

Wonder if radio 102-9 could be in D/FW's future?

Didn't they do that in Philly also?

No, WRFF 104.5 "Radio 104-5" Philly is alternative rock; WVMX went to modern AC.

As soon as I saw this post, I thought of what cliche genre tag I heard. "Modern AC" was it. Thanks Chip. I think I was getting a migraine thinking of that.

However, isn't that an oxymoron? :-\
