Radio 103.9

The word I'd heard was a 0.3 debut.

Always wondered ......
If Cumulus, or IHeart, or CBS, 'buys the book' for a market, can they brandish the results for all their stations in that market with just one purchase?

When a station is part of a cluster, all stations must subscribe as a group.

Probably not subscribing yet. I'd say give it until late 2014-early 2015 until those numbers come out.

It's part of the Cumulus corporate contract, and had a 0.3 for September.

With rival WBLS near the top of the ratings, a .3 for Radio 103.9 would seem to be a disappointment for Cumulus, even considering the fact that the station is rather new and that the signal does not cover the entire market. Even if the ratings eventually triple, it would still be below a 1.
Perhaps moving the station from Hartsdale to the Bronx, changing the format, and bringing back WFAS on a translator may not be worth the expense and effort.

WBLS used to be one of my favorite stations. Now with Radio 103.9 on the air I barely listen to BLS anymore. 103.9 has a much larger playlist. I've been listening to R&B for over 20 years and 103.9 is playing songs I like that I had never heard before.

AMEN!!! Man I thought it was just me! Whoever is programming the music on 103.9 needs an award or something. This station sounds alotttt better then 107.5. I only listen to 107.5 for Steve Harvey and mixshows. But i think 103.9 will pull in 2.0 the least in a few months. They haven't done any heavy promotions, commercials and etc. that I know of. If they pull in a 2.5 they should move it to 95.5 or switch with 99.5. I think 103.9 should have mixshows that last past 12am on friday nights or saturday nights
