Radio 92.3

In reply to HHH: Thank you for the nice words and your efforts to continue to listen to WCLV from your location. Interesting idea about the Key Building, except that back in the 95.5 days, we approached Motorola, who has (or had) all of the communications antenna on top of the Key Building, about moving WCLV there. They didn't want an FM transmitter adjacent to the other transmitters because of RF interference.

Look, anyone with a brain could have made "CLV" work on 95.5.. There are several classical music stations, some with huge signals (100,000 watts at > 1000 feet) that do just fine and are in smaller markets. Conrad just didn't know how to operate the station successfully..PERIOD
Why doesen't he just buy back the station now for another 12 million and move the stick to Harvard Hill and resolve the coverage problems from the other stupidly selected site? Incorrect site selection was one of the reasons "CLV" failed in the first place. Moving to the I-271 site was just dumb. Someone didn't do their homework and Conrad should have sued the piss out of that certain ethnic someone...Is B.P. still around Robert?
