Radio @ AOL/Netscape

With my desktop computer's motherboard fried (and CBS-FM down), I decided to try Radio @ AOL a try. Note: the doo wop channel is great! Along with XM's Soul Street , this is a great alternative when at work or out of town (when I leave to see my dad, I usually stream my local oldies outlet to hear the doo wop show).

Check it out - Netscape is a downloaded program, AOL is a webpage. Soundquality is sub-FM, but bearable.

Three things I don't like about Netscape radio

1. A commercial after every song.

2. Stops suddenly, with a mesaage saying I've listened evough for today.

3. It's AOL.

Live365 is fine, but their commercials bear no relationship to the programming. Like what live, thinking, programmer would put an annoying ad for a rap CD in a channel playing music of the 1930s?

Check out Accuradio.com ... They have channels for everything from truck-driving country songs to piano jazz to the Gershwins (among my favorites)!
