Taft Chamber members to be sued for slander & deformation by Radio Brandy and its founder.
Slanderous emails have been sent out by Taft Chamber members to fellow broadcasters & venders as well as other Chambers.
This slander may be a direct result of our opposition to the harsh treatment that poorly connected business owners recieve from the city of Taft and the Chambers lack of involvement and support.
The Taft Chamber Executive Director:Charmayne Brooks who is very supportive of the Taft Members who slandered Radio Brandy and its staff refused a presentation of the documents that clearly prove the slanderous statements were made by members of Taft Chamber.
Note: A business partner of ours had his name and phone number included in the e-mails sent out to our venders and fellow broadcasters, When contacted by us regarding this matter he became was very upset that he was used in such a matter by a Taft Chamber member which he is not. He is very happy with our relationship and the project we are working on.
The project involves KU band Satellites, We are working on a turnkey semi satellite fed part 15 AM&FM radio station that can be easily set up and funded by anyone wanting to start their own radio station.
How did we find out about these slanderours e-mails?. The Taft Chamber member sent a e-mail to a radio station telling them how we were bad mouthing them. The mistake made by the Taft Chamber members that's going to get them sued is the fact radio station in question is also ours (BUSTED!). While we don't like to sue we are left with no choice, the words were pretty vile and could damage our good name and reputation, not to mention years of hard work.
Radio Brandy wants to send a message from Shamrock, Texas to Taft, California if one of your Chamber members slanders us because of our independant news coverage we will fight back and make you pay.
We would also like to apologize to any of our fellow broadcasters or venders who were affected by the e-mail sent to you or phone calls made. We don't know who got them just by the fact we got them ourselves we know they were sent out in mass.
