Radio Chick on Free FM

Here in Pittsburgh (PA), Kidd Chris is syndicated on K-ROCK (93.7). He single-handedly ruined the afternoon ratings, and in March, K-ROCK is moving to a Free-FM type station w/o Kidd Chris. You don't need or want him in the Bay Area, trust me....and trust what you heard on the podcasts.

PS--Radio sure has changed out there since we left San Jose in '99.

kinda hard so be successful when a station doesn't promote a show...anythings better than the radio chick...the Dogghouse is a Kidd Chris show CLONE

I think you have the wrong way around. The Dog House with JV and Elvis was started in early 90's and Kidd Chris show was started in the late 90's. So who is a clone of who?

You dont know what are you talking about... Does Kidd Chris ever been in morning drive & has the ratings that consistently beating Stern's during Doghouse' days here in Bay area . Give me a break.

I don't mean any disrespect, but are you Brad Maybe? Formerly of The Booker Show on NYC's Free FM and now producer of the Kidd Chris show of Philly's Free FM?

Maybe I'm reading too much into it but thats the vibe I'm getting. If you're not, well then, my bad Brad.

Anywho, why replace the Chick (or any other 106.9 Free FM show) with a show thats unproven in San Fran when The Dog House is a name that has proven themselves there for a decade. I'm not doubting Kidd in anyway, I'm just saying how about let's save time trying to develop his show there and build ratings when you can plop down The Dog House and you're guaranteed to get a surge in ratings. We all know that KIFR is doing horrid in the ratings, so let's put something there that we know will work and will help the situation.

Apparently, The Dog House has said (in the past, not recently) that CBS did offer them middays on KIFR (which is currently the O&A slot) but they turned it down for the fact they wanted to be live on both coasts (mornings on KIFR, middays on WFNY-FM). Which honestly, given their track record is something I think they deserve and is something to be tried out.
