Radio Chick

Radio Chick or Radio Hen. C'mon she's at least fifty years old. Her show is terrible hope to not ever hear her again.
 
From what I understand, she actually adapted her "chick" branding from back when she was on AM radio in Boston.

And it was pitiful as noted. One wonders how a person with such minimal talent gets a gig in radio market #11 and progresses to radio market #1. It speaks volumes about the individuals who hire (and ostensibly, fire) air talent. The picture on her website tells it all. Shot from above, with bovine cleavage intentionally displayed. It screams "cougar" or "cosmetics sales rep."

I could not take the show but there are far worse women DJ's in NYC radio. Judging from her picture on her website, who cares if she is 50, I would hit that.

In other news, there have been several radio job offers, but none are right. Two factors play in: in many cases they have been jobs where I join another show already on the air, or partner with a yet unnamed partner. As an alpha dog, none of that appeals to me, nor do I think it's a prescription for long term success. In addition, I have a rather long contractural period to be paid by CBS and taking another radio job would eliminate that payout, as well as the payout to my guys. So each decision is not just a matter of going back to work in radio, but has to be weighed against an economic equation for 4 people, as well. If the right opportunity in radio comes along, it can be done, but it has to be right for everyone involved.



I am working on a project in another area of entertainment. I can't be more descriptive than that. It will take quite a while to launch, but should it go, it will be a really big deal. Stay in touch here at the website. As I can tell you more, I will.

Sure about that, bro? Have you seen her last interview on TV? It look like the picture from the web was taken at least a decade ago and 20 lbs. of make-up later. Being said that, her show is awful and glad that she's gone, just a waste of radio airtime.
 
Taking a step away from whether she's worthy radio talent or not, this knocking her for her looks sounds a bit cheap and shabby, and perhaps smells a bit of overgrown-radio-fratboy-wannabe pots calling kettles black...
 
Bingo! We have a winner! Yeah, what you say is probably correct, but I didn't put her mug on the web for all to see. She's the one who chose the pic and pose, I'm simply commenting. It's a tough world and a cruel medium.

OK, so maybe we're outta line commenting on her looks. But the fact remains, her show stunk the joint out. I'll stand by my original post. How she got the gigs she's had is stunning. Oh, and she still looks like a cow.

Shame on me.

Jealousy, party of..several? I work at a TV station where she used to appear semi-regularly. She's got a slammin little body, great blue eyes, and a quick hearty laugh. I found her very attractive, and funny, pleasant and hardworking. The entire crew (all guys, btw) liked her, and we liked the her show too. I dont know exactly how old she is, but she isn't fifty, I'd guess in her early forties. That said, I heard she has a TV deal now.

Thats funny causer when i saw her at the gong fest at the china club, she looked really old. She didtn look anything like the internet pic and her body is not all that. If you call a woman with a flat posterior nice then you sir have problems.
 
She probably got a TV deal due to her impressive appearances with Joe Scarborough on MSNBC during the Imus fill-in parade.

Y'know, you make a point. Although I'll adhere to the original contention that her work fails to impress me, my words clearly were unkind and upon further consideration, only serve to weigh negatively against my posts in other threads here.

What's written cannot be retracted in this respect, but if nothing else, your criticism gave me pause to consider my posts more carefully.

As a disinterested third party, may I say this: by 2007 parameters, she looks plausibly 50ish. And, so what. Madonna's 49. And if she wants to glamour-shot herself for public consumption, fine; for someone in this position, it's perfectly sensible. And as far as "hittability" goes: look, in our age of web porn and all, anything goes. So she might be a cougar type. Fine. 50 doesn't signify "disgusting frump" the way it used to.

How's that for turning criticism of Radio Chick's looks on its head?
