Radio Clips 1970s

Ah, the memories.
The FM power for WBRE-FM (now WKRZ) in that announcement was 6.9 kilowatts, up from their initial 2.2 kilowatts.
The WBRE AM tower at Third Avenue is now gone, and the current 1340 tower is on a hill behind the Hamilton Inn, near the VA hospital. Running a steady 890 watts day and night now.
Nice to hear the WYZZ (now Magic 93) sign off again, with their "50,000 watts".

WNAK in Nanticoke (730 AM) wasn't included in your collection, but locals will remember their sign-off song, "The Nightwatch" by Jim Reeves.

By the way, if anyone knows of someone who has the old WBRE 1950s jingles on tape somewhere,
("Scott's Coffee Shop", "Listen Listen, Listen" etc.)
I'd love to get them onto YouTube.
