I was at a dinner on Friday night with several people from the media business. We starting talking about the past and swapped some funny radio stories.
TRUE RADIO CONFESSIONS
I was a new employee at the radio station and I pulled into the parking lot. As I was getting out of my car, the door opened quickly and nailed the car next to me. It put a small dent in the car parked next to me. I felt horrible. I asked one of the other managers what I should do. Should I tell the guy that I did it? He told me that the car belonged to one of the biggest personalities on the station. Then he told me that the car belonged to Miller Pontiac and it he was about to swap it out for another car. It was part of his endorsement deal to get a free car to drive. He told me not to worry. Three days later, there was a new car in that spot and nothing more was ever said about the incident.
