Radio Disney to Sell All But One of its Radio Properties

If Disney gets $4-million for it, it will be the second time in a decade a Mickey Mouse station in the region has sold for that amount.

Given how much they will probably lose, due to the serious decline in market value of AM radio properties since they bought them, maybe they would have been better off to do LMAs.

So basically if they get 1 or 2 million for it they are lucky. Her in philly I can't get the signal that wellin the house in the day and at night forget about it. I think whoever buys this station the best thing they can do with it is sell time. Broker shows. 860 AM does pretty well renting time. I think they can make a living renting time.

Disney purchased WQEW NY alone for $40 million. I wonder if Disney will get that much for all the stations it's able to sell.

WOR went for $30 million about a year ago. WOR is a true full market signal, while WQEW is not.
