RADIO DOCUMENTARY COMING TO L.A. ONE NIGHT ONLY

R

R Dub!

Guest
I'm a PD in San Diego (former PD at KHHT) and in 2011 I produced and directed my first film, a radio documentary.

It's being shown in Santa Monica on June 1st and there's nothing I'd like more than to see a bunch of my radio friends there.

I think you might enjoy the film...it features a handful of great radio people, past and present, from Stryker (KROQ), Bruce St. James (KPWR), Gary Marella (Priority Records), etc.

You can see the trailer here: www.power1490.com

And you can RSVP here: https://www.facebook.com/events/447890011965481/

Should be fun...especially to get a bunch of friends in a room together. Can you come?

I clicked on your link. Why would I want to buy a documentary about a hip hop Tucson Radio station?

HBO had a documentary recently about the Salton Sea which made a great film. It smells out there. I'd buy that!

Maybe because you love radio? I think it's a great story about an amazing team who had incredible perseverance and gumption, despite the odds against them by a giant in the market.

I'd love to see you at the screening.

By the way, I own a copy of "The Plagues and Pleasures of the Salton Sea" and it is an awesome documentary. I recommend!

You could be right, I might like it? I just watched a Cowsill's documentary made by an L.A.R.P., and it was really good. Who knew!
