Radio Dramas

In this world of internet, couldn't we put together an Indy based radio drama? They are doing this in Chicago.

We could round up all of the available talent in the city and just have some fun in a studio every Sunday or something. Big John you in? Jeff P.? Adam Ritz? Jay Baker? Danno?

Names: Days of our Geist? Circle City Circus?

Our business is full of entertainers. We are nuts by nature. So lets take the nuttiness and turn it into something the country can't live without every sunday night. A real radio drama. A hip one. Not like the one in chicago where it's old school. A modern day radio drama with cool efx etc.. Can you imagine pulling it off and it becoming the latest radio phenom? Just and idea... would love to see what all of you think?

It's likely more about having the time to do it but thats a good idea. If done correctly, it could be a big deal.

One of the areas WITT 91.9 hopes to include in the weekly mix is indeed radio drama.
The idea of inviting volunteer talent into the radio "stage" is a great one.
Hope you do not have that copyrighted...lol!

Stay tuned.

Still trying to get WITT on this coming fall. Lots to do yet.

Didn't I see this in a Mickey Rooney/Andy Hardy movie back in the 40s? "Hey kids, let's put on a show..."

You want some radio dramas. Just hide a mike in the breakroom where my friends work after the PD leaves and air that. Now that is some funny RADIO DRMAS!! ;D
