Radio Eq.: Kreeger Investment team may have purchased AAR

Waiting for a reliable source.

Maloney obviously has bottomless contempt for Air America, gleefully posts every bit of bad news about it he can find, and never passes up an opportunity to repeat every negative detail from a past story whenever the flimsiest reason for doing so pops up.

All that being said, he most definitely IS a reliable source. Simply go through his archives and check his track record against known events. I don't know who his source is inside AAR (neither do they, despite their efforts to find out), but it's been a pretty good one. People I know at AAR told me that more often than not in the past 3 months, Maloney's site has given them more reliable information than their own management.

I'd have to agree. Biased against AAR/prog. talk, etc.? Maybe so but there are some out there who show their own bias/opinions on the other side.

And sometimes there are comments on his blog along the lines of "what will he write about if AAR goes away?" Fear not, there's plenty to write about with various media on the left AND right (and prog. talk will still be around,
even if AAR isn't); TV personalities, politicians, et al.

That's a load of nonsense. You obviously have not been around this board for very long. Brian and I have locked horns several times over more than a dozen stories I personally debunked with even the slightest amount of fact checking. His "scandal" stories about Gloria Wise, his claims of show cancellations and employee firings that weren't, his accusations about Randi Rhodes being under investigation, his "exclusive" about AAR salaries that turned out to be completely false when the books were opened.... The guy's source is himself speculating about where the wind will blow next in "exclusives" that rely totally on unnamed sources and and an endless parade of weasel words that allow him to try and wiggle away from his own claims when he is proven wrong. Read any of his stories and look for qualifiers like "sources reportedly said," "analysts say," "maybe," "probably means," "likely," "could mean," et al. Often his headliner is one sentence followed by paragraph after paragraph of opinion, which is hardly unbiased. He's predicted the imminent demise of the entire network not less than a dozen times, but every afternoon, Randi Rhodes is still there....

If you honestly feel a blog written by a failed right wing talk show host with an agenda to try and bash leftwing talk (while posting glowing flag waving pictures of Sean and Rush) to try worm his way back on O'Reilly with the lowlife Michelle Malkin is your idea of news, you need to stop watching Fox and stay out of the newsroom at your local station.
