We're going to have two shows billed as Columbus Marathon Specials this week on "Yesterday's Top Secrets", as the race will be held on Sunday the 19th. Songs about running from the New Christy Minstrels, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, The Fall, Blood Sweat and Tears, The B-52's, James Brown, The Jesus and Mary Chain, and many others (including The Cramps, Johnboy) will be paired up and played. As the show's host and someone who has completed twenty marathons, I know good running music when I hear it, and I will appreciate all of you letting your running and race volunteer friends know about these broadcasts.
"Yesterday's Top Secrets" is a one-hour show airing at 8:00 on Thursday and Friday evenings on WCRS Low Power/High Entertainment FM (102.1/98.3).
