RADIO GEEK ALERT: WCME-900 TESTING

WCME-Brunswick will be doing an initial test this Sunday morning (Apr 15) from 6 AM to about 8:55 AM, from the WJTO (Bath) site. It'll be on 900 on AM dial, and will be using only 176 watts. Not a diplex, as WJTO will be off the air during that time. - Then later in spring or summer, WCME should be continuing its testing from its own site on the western end of Brunswick. Reception reports on this board are welcome.

WCME-900 has been on since 8:20 this evening from WJTO's West Bath tower site, and will stay on til about 8:55 AM Sunday morning. At low power now, but wil lbe on high power at 6 AM.

Same here in Ellsworth, Maine-i-ac. We also have a 910 in Bangor to contend with, but even with a digital receiver, I couldn't pick it up. It will be nice to have WCME back on the air, original call letters and frequency. I spent almost 4 years at that great little radio station in the late 60's. I truly wish Jim well with his project. And kudos to you, JIBGUY for your hard work and effort in making this happen.
