Radio geeks on WGN

John Landecker mentioned on his WGN show tonight (August 4) that he and Bob Sirott will be featured on a special WGN program called "For Radio Geeks Only" on Friday, August 15 from 7 to 10 p.m. CDT. Both Landecker and Sirott have been on Chicago radio, including WLS and WGN, since the early 1970s.
 
I listened to most of For Radio Geeks Only with Bob Sirott and John Landecker on WGN. This was an informal show, with two recorded interviews with Ron Riley, well-known WLS DJ from the 1960s, and an interview with Spike O’Dell, former WGN announcer. They also had a collection of long-form WCFL jingles from the 1960s, and airchecks of former Chicago DJ Ron Britain, a favorite of Sirott and Landecker's.
