In 10 years, I doubt there will be any stations playing what is now considered Oldies in the market. Oldies listeners have an unfortunate tendency to turn 55 years old, so the music mix has to be skewed younger. We'll probably see KONO adding 80s music to the playlist before the end of the decade.willdav713 said:My gosh, how many Top 40 stations is San Antonio going to have. I have longed for another Oldies channel in San Antonio besides KONO and Standards KAHL.

Makes sense. I guess it just seems like they're mostly playing 70s music when I listen.Kent said:sdh483 said:KONO has been adding early 80s music since last year.
Not only that, but KONO plays more 80's than it does 60's now! I believe 80's amount to 25-30% of KONO's playlist.
