Brian Gamroth, one of 18 candidates to apply Thursday for the U.S. Senate seat vacated by the late Craig Thomas, said an unknown such as himself comes into the race as a dark horse.
Except he's not unknown. Gamroth, better known as Brian Scott to those who listen to his morning radio show on Casper radio station KTWO, has a daily audience and a presence in the Casper community.
But in a field filled with politicians and Republican mainstays, will that get him one of the three nominations that will be presented to the governor?
"I will not have a defeatist attitude about it, but I will have a realist attitude about it," he said.
