WSGS at 100,000 watts is the most powerful station.
At one time WSGS was operating at low power pending antenna repairs. Anyone know if they are back to full strength?

It looks like they haven't. An STA extension was filed on 06/29/2010. They've been operating at reduced power for almost a year now.

WSGS has a CP to reduce their height by a few hundred feet. Obviously this will benefit someone but no one seems to know why they are doing this. The sluggishness of getting repairs done makes one speculate that a) they don't want to invest in repairing the old facility and b) they aren't ready to fire up the new facility. What a killer signal...when it works.
