Radio-Info Party Friday Night

A group--so far consisting of 11 Radio-Info readers--is having a get-together on Friday night.

We did this a few years ago--Art Howard organized that one--and we all had a great time. The purpose is simply to socialize and talk radio.

The room accommodates 25 people so if anyone is interested in joining us, email me at [email protected], and I'll tell you the time and place. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.

You will not have to tell anyone your Radio-Info screen name. You don't even have to be someone who posts. You can just come as a Radio-Info reader.

We hope to see some of you on Friday night.

Neat. We can all complain about how the restaurant always serves the same food day in and day out, how the waiters should be more local, and how the food would be better if they let us run the place.
:p

How will this affect TGIFridays?
;D

I keed. I keed.

Best post of the month.

Added bonus, I will be there so you can all tell me how right I am on everything related to Atlanta Radio.

Special Plea::::

I know that many Atlanta radio programmers and personalities, past and present, read this board. They may not it admit it, but they do. Please show up to this event. Your unique perspective would be enlightening to the group.

I agree! Terriffic analogy. Best post I've read in a long time.

I'll come out for this under one condition...

If we get bad service, I don't want to hear Neil declare his candidacy for restaurant manager. ;D

The service in this place is unchanged for the 22 yewars I've patronized it. Like it or not, it doesn't change much.

Oh, I'm sure it's a great place...it was more of a crack on Neil. ;D

We were thinking of making Neil the keynote speaker.

I accept. In fact I already have the speech ready.

Here's a sample...ladies and gentlemen, as PD Presumptive of DAVE-FM, let me say that Rodney Ho is a lousy reporter...

Too bad, I am nowhere near Atlanta..

Have fun

What would we do if Neil Millman and Mike Wheeler both showed up?

We kick back and watch. P'raps Mr Horowitz will referee. And p'raps not. I owned a redneck bar over home in the 70s, and made dam' sure the patrons knew about the pistol in my pocket. Yall go out in the parking lot, and how you settle your differences is none of my business. In here, you behave. Since somebody else owns this one, they can handle it however they want. I'll watch from the sidelines.

Sausage Fest

I have a feeling this will be a sausage fest. What about holding this party at the Pink Pony? ;D

"What would we do if Neil Millman and Mike Wheeler both showed up?"

I doubt if Wheeler would be able to find the place.

Wish I could attend!!!! But, I am only 4'11"..so no one would miss me anyway... :D

They have a good bar there. Rodney??? Dude, you are not really going to be there are you?

Re: Sausage Fest

As long as it's not the new Pink Pony South. Doubtful many of us make it past Sheriff "Walking Tall's" roadblocks.
