I guess you are going to have to explain to me what respect should be lost.
I bounce in and out of RI with some regularity and I ned not see "the HUGE banner". After reading your post, I had to go back over there and search and seek before I spotted it.
Could you explain to me why this is so awful. I would hate to miss a good opportunity to be all outraged.... if I just understood what it is that I am all outraged about.
I watched a few minutes of a little YouTube type video about this Hot97 thing. It's not a channel that I will be following on a daily basis, but I guess I want to watch the event tonight and see what Lance thinks we should know about it.
As my now long departed co-worker used to work into the conversations of the day at least ONCE every day.....

Oh look, it's a banner. What an outrage. How dare they. Down with banners! Banners are the devil! Think of the children!
So there's a banner on their site. So what? They have got to do whatever they must do in order to keep the website free for us.

What is there to be at all upset about? It's an ad. It pays bills. Where's the problem?
I think the idea is that there is an RI live blogging of the program. Since I will probably not watch, I will not also probably not be blogging along.

It's not even an ad. It's just a liveblog Lance was hosting to talk about a radio station getting some nice visibility on TV. Where do you get that any money was changing hands, DtotheJ?
