Radio Jolly Roger

In what way does this inane clip relate to Dallas/Fort Worth radio?

None.

The same as your anonymous, inane remark.

Yep same thing Johnny Drake did. Drake wa on a boat whereas that was a land based type station.
He's still doing his show out of Dallas.

That was filmed on the Shivering Sands Forts that the British Government built during WWII.

Its also where Pirate Radio met its fate when Major Smedly radied Radio Sutch/Radio City and removed the transmitter from there and didn't tell his partner Reg Calvert. Calvert went to Smedley's house to confront him about it and the Major shot him dead on the lawn.

Gave Wedgewood Ben ammunition to go to Parliment and show that Pirate Radio was dangerous. It led them to pass the Marine Broadcasting Offences Act and outlawed Pirate Radio on 14 August, 1967.

Their is a trust that is trying to preserve Red Sands and make it a monument if memory serves.
