Salem still has a few markets where they appear to have a second brokered time AM station (in addition to “The Answer”) to go along with (the equivalent of) the Word format, sort of an overflow outlet for additional clients.Salem has sold all of their music formats, and KTNO was their last "Spanish religious" format. What is not here that Salem owns at the moment? The business-talk format is what KTNO replaced.
They still have one CCM station in 95.9 W240-CX & WTOH-HD2 in Columbus, Ohio, but you're pretty much spot on elsewhere. Noticed their religious format stations have in recent months added on weekends a 3-hour Christian Music show called Keep The Faith.Salem has sold all of their music formats, and KTNO was their last "Spanish religious" format. My understanding is 95.9 is being shopped around. Would love to see a unique format in Columbus like a take on AAA.They still have one CCM station in 95.9 W240-CX & WTOH-HD2 in Columbus, Ohio, but you're pretty much spot on elsewhere. Univision did not have any presence in radio until mid 2002. Prior to that, it was HBC (Hispanic Broadcasting) and the Dallas cluster was put together by Cecil Heftel. If I recall correctly, the present "Radio Luz" moved from 1440 when Salem spun it off in 2019 to Relevant Radio. It carried the "Radio Luz" name there. Salem began operating then-KTNO 1440 in late 2011. It was running a Spanish religious format before then as "Radio Vida" as part of the then-Mortenson cluster of KHVN 970/KGGR 1040/KNAX 1630. Before that, KTNO was part of the Univision cluster until the mid or late 1990s.
