It's official. WFAN has JUMPED THE SHARK! Several months ago MIKE & THE MAD DOG spent a good portion of their program trying to get MARC MALUSIS a date with a barmaid in New Jersey. Last week Mike & Dog reading the entire roster of a little league team that won a championship. Why did they discuss this little league team? One reason. One of the players is the son of WFAN's GM LEE DAVIS.

I punched up WFAN on the radio this past Saturday around 9pm. "THE LATIN BEAT" program discussing GAYS IN SPORTS. Think we could hear METS/YANKS SUBWAY SERIES talk? This was a few hours after the METS beat the YANKS. Give us a break! Imagine if WFAN had decent competition from WEPN?

I'm not latin, nor am I gay, but that break they did was one of the most compelling things I've heard on WFAN outside of Sommers and Beningo in a long, long while. I have to give Clemente's partner on that show high marks - she's very engaging.
