EMMIS BUSTED! What's up with this crap?
If WIBC reported this then I hold EMMIS in utter contempt. To bastardize the news with a STUPID publicity stunt on your sister station is beyond crap. Suggestion - FIRE EVERYONE INVOLVED and get to work restoring "RADIO INDIANA" and "WNAP" to what they once were. SHAME ON YOU EMMIS!!

First off all, I am surprised WIBC would report this, since it does bring a sister station into a bad light. Second of all, I don't feel surprised by this AT ALL. Hello?!?! This is the same morning show that thought it would be "funny" to hire moving trucks to scare the living daylights out of the entire area, pertaining to the Colts. Yes, there's no such thing as bad PR. Yes, it was creative and different. However, it was still in extremely poor taste, with the stadium stuff still teetering (although, it's less so now than it was 2-3 weeks ago). Third, doesn't "Radio Indiana" have anything better to report on than what will amount to a minor legal offense?

That's not how it happened. One of my Emmis Indianapolis friends said that a Radio Now staffer saw the vans there at the RCA Dome and put the brain in gear. Radio Now did not pay for the vans to appear.
