Radio Now is broadcasting in HD today (not High Definition)

No HD2 or anything. The levels are off and the digital stream doesn't match up with the analog right now.

the ID on the HD stream shows "test"

With low HD penetration (I moved away so listenership probably dropped 20% ;D ) there's probably no hurry to get things sync'd up.

I'd be interested to know how good the coverage is, though, considering they're just 8.3 kW.

With an extra HD2/HD3 to fill, maybe this will be where WREC finally gets on FM. WDIA on one HD2 and WREC on the other. Now… who gets that big translator? ;)

WREC is already on 102.7 hd2
WDIA is on 101.1 hd2

coverage was solid across town from near Downtown to 40 & Sycamore View. The Analog suffers a bit at that location due to overload from FM-100 located near by.

HD was off today I may be out in Cordova soon to see how it holds up out there if it's back on then.

you have WUMR also just a touch off the interstate in the other direction (south) also.

WHBQ TV is also right there to the east.

Lots of RF right there.
