Read somewhere Radio One bought the 102.9 fm translator out in Greenfield. Thoughts on what it will be come WTLC-am simulcast or maybe some form of edm? Emmis bought the 97.5 translator awhile back what are they going to make out of that?

The last I heard, 97.5 was to rebroadcast WLHK HD2, which was to be Air1.

102.9 is supposed to move to one of the towers on the East side and repeat WNOU HD2. I'm guessing it will be a feed of WTLC 1310 when it's all said and done. I doubt EDM will be a choice, but we could see the current urban gospel format that's already in place on 1310 or maybe something different like urban oldies (like Old School 100.3 in Cincinnati). That would free 106.7 up to go in a straight ahead urban AC direction with Hot 96.3 focusing more on hip-hop with less R&B.
