Almost 20 Radio One ( ATL ) employees were relieved of their duties, including the end of the A-Team Morning Show on Hot 107.9 (WHTA)." The Rickey Smiley Show" will replace " The A-Team" in morning drive. The cuts also include Praise 97.5 (WPZE) personality Sonia Hamm and Renee miller of Smooth Jazz 107.5 WJZZ.

but they just signed miss jones for a 5 year deal why the hell would they do this not unless radio-one is putting miss jones in afternoon drive hmmmmmmmmmm

This just in, Word has it that the deal between the Rickey Smiley Morning Show and Hot 107.9 has hit a snag. Until then The A-Team Morning Show will continue on Hot 107.9.
 
Folks in Louisville, Dayton and other markets are thanking their lucky stars that they are rid of Radio One as owners of their cities' Urban and UAC stations. It's like being in the first lifeboat off the Titanic...one huge sigh of relief!

I found sixty-nine cents in my sofa cushion...better go buy a share of RO!
