Radio One kills off Boom 106.3

Radio One (I guess they go by Urban One now days) has killed off Boom 106.3 for a simulcast of Power 107.5.

Guess this is kinda like going back to their roots - 106.3 was the original home of Power 107.5's format before Radio One (I believe it was blue chip broadcasting at the time) purchased the former Urban WJZA many years ago and it became the home of Power 107.5.

That would fill in some of 107.5's problem areas to the west. Not that I listen much, but I don't remember them having a great signal much more than 30-40 miles out.
