If the B's on Wilson are worth $250-$300 mil, what are the A's worth?

A's in LA come in different flavors. KSSE, half way up Wilson at 6 kw is at the high end. The poorer OC signals are at the low end and I'd
say the range is $30 to $150 million.

Entravision has reportedly had the 103.1's on the block for about $85-$100 million and can't get that.

No worth it, either. Probably, together, worth $60 today. If that.

InsideRadio.com is reporting Radio One Ceo Alfred Liggins telling Wall Steet "if someone were to offer an attractive price" (they'd sell). Bear Sterns analyst Victor Miller calculates it could go for $125-$175 million.

Glad to see Radio One has come to their senses. They are not capable of competing in Los Angeles. Emmis needs to learn the same lesson and sell Movin which is in even worse shape than Radio One is with V.

Humm, seems like Radio One's mode of operation is to buy good stations, run them in the ground then sell them. They have done this in Louisville, Dayton and Augusta Georgia.

Add Boston and Minneapolis to that list .

Exactly my point ... The A's on Baldwin (105.5, 103.1, 102.3, and 103.9) as well as Torrance (93.5) are likely worth more than some of the OC A's (especially 92.7). 95.9 is probably the best of the OC - but I agree 107.1 is the closest to a Super A.

I think 94.3 in the Valley has some decent value though because it is the only one that covers the two valley's (Santa Clarita and San Fernando) and delivers good numbers for Que Buena.

I doubt 103.9 (on it's own) would be worth more than $60 million - but that could double with 98.3 and also the fact you have ratings and cash flow on them.
