Radio Open Source makes it's goal...big time!

According to the latest fundraising post on radioopensource.org some kind, anonymous, soul donated $125000 to ROS's summer fund drive, bringing the total up to $150k and change. That rather nicely exceeds their goal of $76000. While this goes a long way to keeping ROS around for a little while longer, I almost wish whoever gave the big donation had waited a bit longer. I think the donations totaling just over $25000 from the previous ten days were making an interesting barometer of how well an independent show can raise money entirely (almost entirely?) off the air. $25k in 10 days is not bad, and I think they would've made their goal in another 2 or 3 weeks.

Guess Mr. Lydon truly does have friends in high places! ;D
