Radio predictions for 2020!

103.3 to Urban

107.3 to Alternative

Looking at the playlists for both stations, you can kind of tell they're already leaning in that direction.

Yeah, I could see both of those changes happening. Even after New Year, I could see AMP dropping Dan and Shay/Bieber, Shaed and Taylor Swift in favor of more rhythmic/urban product.

Most of my predictions won"t come true!

I go out on a limb when I make them. Many of them won't happen, but I just want to share my opinion on the poor state of radio in this country, especially here in Boston.
And the state of radio here in Boston has only gotten worse since 2019!

107.3 did switch format, to Christian.
Last year 103.3 went variety hits (prob was in
summer; affected by ad $ dryup due to pandemic
and competition)

>>IHeart will sell one of its music radio stations to EMF.
Right church, wrong pew-- EMF bought a music
station but it was from (what at the time was)
