Ding-ding-ding. It has already been done back in the 90's. KIKK had a promotion concerning the gas price. At the time, it was being offered at 95 cents a gallon when gas was up temporarily around $1.25.
 
KILT has been giving away 100 gallons of gas three times a day, and a weekly 1000 gallon winner for about a month now.
 
We have done countless gas discount promotions and giveaways too with our April Fuels Day giveaways.

Back when I produced the KLDE morning show, we got great media coverage with 94.5 cent per gallon gas (yes before it became 107.5) That was when gas was up around $1.50 or so... we had traffic jammed up around the Shell station on Richmond near Weslayan so badly that traffic reporters were talking about the mess on other stations...

In other words we got alot of miles out of that promotion.. (pun intended)

Nobody cares that it's been done before. Nobody cares that it's been done alot. Nobody cares that it's not creative or original. They know they can win free gas = TSL.

KTRH is doing a gas giveaway of $1,000. The Buzz was doing a gas giveaway too-- that may be finished.

Giving away a hybrid or a lifetime bus pass would be better!
 
Sure, cover the sales tax too and give one away per cluster.

Sounds like a great idea, but there are oil billionares that need to put food on the table.
