Radio Reloj listenable in Charleston

I've talked about Radio Reloj being the farthest listenable AM signal during the daytime in Charleston. That is a true statement. It's about 710 miles or so. This is what I heard on a Sunday afternoon recently at about 1:30pm.

Today around 3:45pm, I heard it like this in North Charleston, about 20 miles inland from the coast. Great signal.

Here is a recording of the signal at the Battery daytime. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZtSEldi4r7U

That's a great signal indeed for 710 miles away daytime and being 20 miles inland to boot. Of all the R. Reloj signals, the 570 signal seems to be the one I hear the most often up here in Ohio but only at night. Which of the other Cuban stations can you get during the day from there?

This one was on the coast at the Charleston Battery (maybe a few blocks from the harbor), but it was definitely listenable in North Charleston when I heard it last. I'll have to go there another day and get that airchecked. This was at about 1:30pm. I haven't tried for any other Cubans.

Although it's in Havana and not Santa Clara, I'd think that Radio Enciclopedia 530 could be audible there in the daytime too. Even Radio Rebelde on 530 might make it there. (As long as there are no local TIS's to muddy things.)

As to other Reloj's, I'd think that maybe 790 & 950 could make it there.

Rebelde on 670, 710, 1180 certainly have a chance. If you have a portable shortwave receiver, bring it along and check them against 5025 kHz.... You will need to check parallels, so as not to confuse the 670 & 710 with Miami stations.
